Today we’re here ahead of St. Patrick’s Day to get you in the spirit by showing you a couple of great Irish pubs around town and their holiday specials!
Believe it or not, Paddy’s Public House on Stafford St. is owned by a man named Paddy from Ireland. They offer a wide variety of Irish beers and whiskeys, and their St. Patricks’ Day food specials include fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, corned beef and cabbage, and corned beef sandwiches. They’re open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
J. Brian’s is a pet-friendly establishment, so bring your furry friends along.
Next, Colonial Tavern, home of the Irish Brigade. This was originally a railroad depot, and the building has been historically preserved. They’ll have some amazing food specials, inducing Guinness beef barbecue and a cheddar ale dip. The feisty leprechaun and pandemic survival punch are just a few of the drink specials they’ll have. Seating will be limited this year, so reservations are strongly suggested.
Finally, we’re at J. Brian’s Tap Room at 202 Hanover St. in downtown Fredericksburg. They’ve been a community staple since 1994, and they’ll have lots of specials as well. Their shepherd’s pie is made with lamb, and they have both a Reuben sandwich and a Rachel sandwich (which is just a Reuben with turkey). They’re a pet-friendly establishment, so bring your furry friends along as well.
If you have any other St. Patrick’s Day suggestions for us or real estate-related questions, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
